Several of Soquel Creek Water District's wells are completed across two aquifers: one high in in iron and manganese and one high in hexavalent chromium. HydroMetrics WRI led a field program to profile the flow in the wells using dye injections and collect depth-discrete samples. Based on the field program results, HydroMetrics WRI suggested potential well modifications for reducing hexavalent chromium concentrations in pumped water.
