HydroMetrics WRI modified and recalibrated UWCD’s regional groundwater model. Previously, the model simulated water levels in key areas such as the Oxnard Forebay as being well above ground surface. HydroMetrics WRI determined that the water balance needed to be modified to adequately simulate water levels. Within six weeks, the model was modified and recalibrated so that UWCD could use the model to simulate management alternatives with confidence.
