Squaw Valley Groundwater Model

Derrik Williams developed a groundwater model of the Squaw Valley groundwater basin to support water supply analyses for the Squaw Valley Public Services District (SVPSD).  The groundwater model was designed to analyze potential pumping and recharge scenarios.  HydroMetrics WRI has updated the model to evaluate the impact of redistributed pumping on flows in Squaw Creek.  The SVPSD has continued to use the groundwater model as a planning tool for annual water management decisions.
