HydroMetrics WRI uses water balance concepts, an understanding of aquifer testing and stream-aquifer interaction, and analytical tools to assess hydrologic impacts of groundwater pumping. These analyses can be necessary for Environmental Impact documentation (EIR/EIS) of projects under California (CEQA) or federal law (NEPA). HydroMetrics WRI has the technical expertise to evaluate impacts of pumping on existing nearby wells, streams, and the overall condition of the groundwater basin.
