Golden Gate Park Well Replacement

The efficiencies of the Park’s irrigation wells had slowly deteriorated due to age.  To ensure a future water supply, the City of San Francisco hired Derrik Williams as part of a joint venture to replace key wells in the Park .  Based on a water budget developed by Mr. Williams, two new production wells were sited to meet the park’s irrigation demands.  Then, Mr. Williams oversaw the installation and testing of the replacement wells.  The new wells produced more water than anticipated by the City.
